THIS YEAR WILL BE DIFFERENT

✨ This year will be different. ✨

I say this to myself every January. It can take on so many different meanings, but for 2024, the meaning for me is simple. This year will be different - in almost every way. It already is.

After two decades working in law firms, I have entered the world of entrepreneurship! Let me try that again, I HAVE ENTERED THE WORLD OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP! That’s better. This is BIG! This has been something I have been working towards for several years, but putting the plan in motion was a bit overwhelming. As paralegals, part of our job to scrutinize every detail and find what others might miss. We put the pieces together. My analytical brain was in overdrive due to all of the unknowns of venturing out on my own.

So yes, this year will be different. I am embracing those unknowns, learning new skills - from creating a website and building a brand to fully embracing social media, crafting content and expanding my network (LinkedIn for the win!). All of this is in motion as I continue building on the value I can offer my clients and my network. I am excited for all that 2024 has in store - for all of us.
